When An Evolution Is Really A Revolution

OREM, UT. – July 26, 2013 – InfoTrax, the leading provider of management software for the direct selling industry, today announced the release of DataTrax 5, designed to control and manage all back-office aspects of an MLM company. In keeping with the legacy of innovation at InfoTrax, DataTrax 5 runs on Java Virtual Machine (JVM), providing the latest user experience while maintaining the same robust functionality that DataTrax has always been known for

Mark Rawlins, CEO of InfoTrax, noted, “By moving to an all-Java platform product, DataTrax 5 becomes open platform, giving our clients new levels of flexibility to customize the system for their business. DataTrax 5 combines 30 years of software development experience with the latest development methodologies.” Java offers more reusable code that can be easily extended through the use of inheritance as well as connection to the large Java community and its many code libraries. DataTrax 5 also provides a comprehensive REST-based API layer, allowing clients to connect their other applications and services, like distributor backoffice websites and other order entry systems, directly to DataTrax.

In addition, all DataTrax 5 client data will be hosted in a SOC 1 Type II certified, PCI compliant facility in a low risk natural disaster zone with 24/7 on-site security, four tier 1 fiber providers, connections to seven major carriers, and monitored access controls. Out of the box, DataTrax 5 is both PC and Mac compatible so all client environments can take advantage of its benefits.

With DataTrax 5, InfoTrax once again delivers on its security and accuracy promise to clients by calculating commissions and managing data using separate databases for each client, guaranteeing the privacy and security of each company’s data.

“2013 has been a year of exciting growth for InfoTrax,” said Scott Smith, President of InfoTrax. “DataTrax 5 is another tremendous milestone as we continue to expand and improve our service to the direct selling industry. We look forward to sharing DataTrax 5 with our clients.”
